As a match-3 game that also offers you an adventure, Skydom is special. You can perform tasks in this game in addition to playing a straightforward match-3 game. Each level offers a different task; for instance, you might have to gather a specific quantity of yellow, green, red, or other pieces. There are numerous levels in the game that you must finish.

When five pieces are matched together, a special piece is created that, when exchanged with another piece, obliterates all other pieces it has previously matched on the board. By creating a match with 3 pieces on each axis, you can make a bomb that, when matched with the corresponding color, will explode and eliminate a 3x3 block of pieces. The firefly power-up is produced by making a square match where the identical pieces are in a 2x2 square.
