In Mars Jump, players don't just jump; they also control gravity to land gently. You must time your jumps carefully and glide through treacherous terrain. At the same time, players need to avoid collisions. Every move must be very careful on this harsh planet. Players must firmly understand the control mechanisms:
- Hold the left arrow key or A to activate the left thruster.
- Hold the right arrow key or D to activate the right thruster.
- Combining both left and right arrow keys helps slow down the astronaut's fall speed.
If you fall too fast, your astronaut character will shatter. By activating the left and right thrusters, you will control your trajectory and the possibility of a safe fall. Landing gently and precisely is the most crucial part of the game. If you hit the platform too hard at an angle, you will end the game immediately. If you run into trouble, instantly respawn at the checkpoint in the upper left corner of the screen.
Fuel management
Your jetpack consumes fuel every time you thrust. If you waste too much fuel, you might run out before reaching the next platform. In most cases, short thrusts will result in better fuel control.
