Protect the existence of the tiny planet in Orbit Rush. It is trapped in the terrifying gravitational pull of a giant black hole. The planet is forced to move continuously in a circular orbit around this hole. Therefore, your only goal is to survive as long as possible. However, the black hole's gravity will constantly pull the planet toward the center. If it is sucked in too deep, it will explode, and the game ends. Conversely, if players push the planet too far out of the safe orbit, it may collide with meteorites. The score will increase with your survival time. Especially, your score will increase much faster if you dare to venture close to the black hole. Score as many points as possible.
VAST AND MYSTERIOUS UNIVERSE
When Orbit Rush starts, the planet will automatically move clockwise. It will be gradually pulled toward the center by the gravitational force. To counter this pull, players need to click the left mouse button or the space bar. This action will activate the thruster, causing the planet to shoot away from the black hole's center. It will head towards the outer edge of the screen. When players release the mouse, the thruster will immediately turn off. Gravity will then pull the planet back down toward the black hole.
Risk and reward
The game encourages players to take risks by increasing the scoring rate when you are close to the black hole. This puts players in a dilemma. Should you play safe in a distant orbit to live longer, or risk plunging into the danger zone for a record score? This choice is what makes each round unique and never boring.
How to move
- Click the mouse or the space bar to propel the planet away from the dangerous black hole.
Movement tips
- Click the mouse briefly and steadily to make the planet move in a small, stable sine wave.
- Observe the entire screen to spot approaching meteorites or planets early.
- Utilize gravity to dodge an incoming meteorite.
- In the first few rounds, prioritize keeping the planet in the middle orbit of the screen.
