Skip the spikes. 

Hold to fly up in ship mode, release to fly down. 

To jump high, strike a yellow pad. 

To jump higher, strike a blue pad (missing a gravity portal). 

Collect the coins to earn extra points. 

Toggle effects with L. (to reduce lag) 

Toggle the background by pressing B. (This can also be used to reduce lag.)

The cloud is ineffective.
